First published in 1641 as 'Herōologia Anglorum, or, an help to English history' (the first word is transliterated from the Greek), under the pseudonym Robert Hall.
A variant setting of title page exists, adding "and" before "the Isle of Wight" in the title, and with reading "Printed, to be sold by ..." in the imprint.
With an advertisement regarding the original edition on the verso of the title leaf.
