Title: "Itinerant Peddling and the Gypsy Population" (Translation). This study marks the first efforts of Valencia's chapter of the General Union of Workers (Unión General de Trabajadores) at playing a role in the ongoing debate in Spain over the role of gypsies. Arguing that unions should assist this marginalized group in achieving social uplift whenever possible, the authors of this study examine various facets of the gypsy community's main economic activity: itinerant peddling.
