A prepared monthly report signed by the viceroy and forwarded to "Exmo Sor Secretario de Estado y del despacho universal de la guerra." This is a review of the military and Indian problems in the Provincias Internas during the current month telling of the appearance of foreign ships near San Blas, the wars with the Indian tribes, especially the Apaches, and the sending of military supplies and troops to Alta California.
