Biographical / Historical Note
John E. Edwards moved from Warsaw, Illinois to Montana where he worked as a cattle ranch manager, a ranch supplier, a Crow Indian agent, a bank president, and a state senator.
Summary
Letters to his parents and sister concern his work, family, and financial matters. Accompanied by 2 ALS from his wife, Julia, to his mother, a letter from an unidentified author to Edwards' mother, and a TLS to Edwards from S. V. Stewart.
