Manuscript, written in black ink on paper and bound in contemporary cloth boards, was purchased by Yale Med from Zeitlin catalog 182 in May, 1958; approximate date taken from dealer's descriptive paragraph.
Final group of pagings has half title: "Zweiter Abschnitt von der Bildungsgeschichte des Foetus." Its page 105 has half title: "Dritter Abschnitt Von den Abweichungen in der Bildung des Eyes im Foetus." Tiedemann was professor of anatomy and physiology at Heidelberg from 1816.
