Compared with Ahlwardt 796; Ahlwardt suggests that this incipit, as distinct from the incipit of Ahlwardt 794, indicates a later redaction by another person. The marginal annotator of this copy has however supplied in the margin the incipit of Ahlwardt 794. Perhaps two versions were current.
The Bankipore (XVIII, 2, 1356) copy combines both.
Hitti 1271 covers sūrahs 1-3:182 -- perhaps all after 2:23 is, as Hitti suggests, by another author.
