The exhibition at the Anderson Galleries represents a portion of an earlier exhibition held at the Brooklyn Museum from November 19, 1926-January 1, 1927. In connection with the Brooklyn exhibition the Société Anonyme published a work by Katherine S. Dreier entitled Modern art (1926) that included biographical and critical material on the artists represented.
