A collection of 70 hand-colored maps, of which 25 are issued by Reinier & Josua Ottens, Amsterdam, 14 by Cóvens & Mortier, Amsterdam, and 14 by Visscher/Schenk, Amsterdam. Those which have imprint dates are dated 1703-1772. Two title pages precede this collection; the engraved one reads: Atlas. Amstelaedami, apud Reinerum & Iosvam Ottens; the printed one reads: Atlas nouveau, contenant toutes les parties du monde, où sont exactement remarquées les empires, monarchies, royaumes, états, républiques, &c. par Guillaume de l'Isle ... A Amsterdam, chez Jean Cóvens & Corneille Mortier, sur le Vygendam.
