Handwritten text of a poem within a decorative border reproduced on one side of a long, narrow sheet of brown wrapping paper with torn edges along its length, joined with glue at horizontal seams. Glued at top edge and tied with brown yarn and white string to a cover, an even longer cutout of heavier brown paper, also glued at horizontal seams. Both leaves folded accordion style. Page [1] of the cover is decorated with title illustrations and collage, suggesting in part a sinuous tree trunk, leaves, a couple embracing, eggs in a nest, and a crescent moon. A cutout paper urn provides the copy number and is tied with string through slits in the cover. Page [2] of the cover has mounted paper cutouts providing publication, edition, and series information. In a white envelope mounted with brown paper cutouts (leafy tree, eggs in a cage, hand-colored Vigía lantern) and hand-colored title.
