Summary
The records consist of twelve volumes (1, 10, 17-26 of 26 folders) of correspondence and other papers, including agenda and proceedings of meetings of the International Commission appointed under Article 109 of the Versailles Treaty to control the plebiscite which led to the re-occupation of Schleswig by Denmark. The commission also administered the disputed territory until it was handed over to Denmark. The records are part of the Archives of Commissions which were set up to implement the provisions of certain international agreements. The records constitute part of Public Record Office group Foreign Office class 852 (PRO F0 852).
