Vol. for 1871 called "Primary convention," lacks numbering but constitutes 1st annual convention.

The original diocese of Central Pennsylvania divided in 1904, with the western part assuming the name Harrisburg. The eastern part continued under the old name until 1910, when it changed name to Bethlehem. It was finally the diocese of Harrisburg which reverted to the original name in 1972, continuing its current convention numbering unchanged.
