Correspondence concerning a variety of matters of concern to the Union of Orthodox Rabbis in the mid-20th century. About half of the letters in this collection pertain to circumcision in New York City hospitals. Other letters include communications with various governmental agencies, advocacy on behalf of Jews in Europe, and inquiries from rabbis about kashrut and other aspects of Jewish practice. Most of the letters are typewritten in English.
