Manuscript, in multiple hands, of a collection of about 51 verses by various authors on sentimental subjects, written into the album by the owner's friends. Several poems are addressed to Sarah, including a poem signed W. F. which declares, "May [angels] conduct you to th'Almighty's throne; Lead you to realms where pleasures never cloy, Pleasures that Virtue & that Sarah can enjoy!" Other poems include Sir Thomas Moore's Written in the Blank Leaf of a Lady's Commonplace Book; Byron's Lines Written in an Album, at Malta, signed "Eleonora Sophia [Milward]" and addressed "To Sarinka"; as well as original verses such as A Prayer by F. D. Brown, "aged 9" and a poem addressed to "Miss Fitz John" comparing her to a rosebud by "Mary Ann G." The manuscript also contains a drawing of a colored map of England labeled with riddles instead of county names.
