Summary
Manuscript of a text on the history, grammar and usage of the Greek language, with some comments on classical Greek drama and literature. Probably written during Gandy's employment in Greece by the Society of Dilettanti, the manuscript mentions recent discoveries of inscriptions by Lord Elgin and refers to both Elgin and Sir William Gell as "Friends of the Muses."
