A poetical address to Ridgely, calling on him to withdraw his candidacy for the Assembly in favor of Robert Alexander. It refers to the contemplated trip of the governor to Great Britain, doubtless Eden's hurried visit to England in 1774.
Thirty-eight lines of verse; first line: We the principal merchants of Baltimore-Town.
