Verse in twenty-eight stanzas; first line: A merry tale I will rehearse.
Probably the earliest edition of Thomas Green Fessenden's "Country lovers." Although Bristol suggests New Haven as the place of publication, the broadside was more likely printed in New Hampshire about 1795 while Fessenden was a student at Dartmouth College. Cf.
