Traditional songs and dance music of the Quechua and Aymara Indians of the Puno and Lake Titicaca region, performed on native instruments such as the siqu (pan pipes), charango (small 10-string guitar-like instrument made from an armadillo shell), kena (flute), bombo, and tarola (types of drums), as well as mandolin, accordion, and guitar; recorded on site by Xavier Bellenger of the Instituto Francés de Estudios Andinos (IFEA) during the year 2000.
