Unpublished manuscript, written in a "copperplate hand" (cf. bookdealer's squib pasted onto back cover), was purchased by Harvey Cushing in November, 1936 from London book seller Henry Fotheram (name questionable, as Dr. Cushing wrote it in pencil on old clipping). The plates are finished watercolour drawings of plants.
