"In Senate, March 8, 1782. Read and concurred. ..."
The American Antiquarian Society copy is mutilated, lacking caption and beginning of text. The title is derived from another broadside, issued by the city of Boston in response to the resolution of March 8th, entitled "Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Boston, March 15, 1782. Whereas the General Court of this commonwealth on the eighth day of March instant did resolve, 'that eighty-five men ... be immediately raised within the town of Boston ...,'" and from other resolves issued at this time.
Presumably printed by Benjamin Edes and Sons, who printed other resolves of the General Court.
Printed area measures 26.4+ x 15.0 cm.
Not in Evans or Bristol.
