The American Antiquarian Society copy is annontated in a contemporary hand "newspapers for legislature of 1849" and includes a ms. list of newspapers with the note: To be left at my seat my residence no. 66 High St. or at my store no. 2 Central Wharf, Barton. Benj. P. Richardson.

Attached to the American Antiquarian Society are two additional broadsides. The first, measuring 18 x 15 cm., has caption title "Supplementary list of newspapers." The second, measuring 10 x 15 cm., reads "The Boston daily bee, the Boston weekly bee, Perley's Sunday pic-nic ... The above journals are under the editorial charge of Ben. Perley Poore, Esq., with the addition of literary contributions from distinguished literary gentlemen."
