Summary
An animated film essay that probes and satirizes military rhetoric and the escalation of the arms race. Birdlike generals, fat atom and hydrogen bombs, and sharklike missles are drawn by political cartoonist Osborn to create a colorful, chaotic image of our world's weaponry. Glazer's talking-blues soundtrack exposes the paranoia behind military strategy, its acronyms and its propaganda.
