Four holograph short stories, apparently unpublished, in pen, by Rosabelle Nettleton Watrous. Included are "Aunt Katy's Adventure"; "In Litchfield Hills"; "A Hen of Course"; and an untitled story. All stories are undated. A pocket diary, records Watrous's short daily observations from Jan. 1, 1892 to April 10, 1893. It contains frequent notes about the weather and about Rosabelle and Edgar's work making and delivering bottled sodas. Also present are "1893 World's Fair Notes," 30 leaves, in pencil, in which Watrous describes scenery on a long train trip from Connecticut to Chicago, with special mention of a stop at Niagara Falls. Her remarks on the Columbian Exposition include notes on the Cyclorama of the Crucifixion and travel on the elevated train into downtown Chicago.
Also present is a "Cash Book of Paul Milo Watrous," 71 p. in pen, widely spaced, for accounts kept in 1908 and 1909; and 14 of Edgar H. Watrous's cancelled checks, 1880-1891.
