Summary
"Sifu" is the name they gave her. "Sifu," the Swahili word for "praise," was not part of the chorus they sang or just a nickname give to describe the missionary, but something Maizie Smyth has expressed to God since she first stepped out from a farm near Broughshane in Northern Ireland to serve God in the heart of Africa. Serving God for twenty-four years under the blue skies of the Democratic Republic of Congo has helped Maizie prove how great God is, even when she could only see clouds of impossibility. She has known His protection and provision in the most unusual ways and often in the nick of time.
