Another annotation on recto flyleaf: "The Book named The Royall, was translated and printed by W. Caxton, 1484. Again by W. de Worde, in 1507, also without Date. This is an abstract of The necessary doctrine and erudition for any Christian man, set forth by King Henry 8. An.o 1543."
Annotation on verso flyleaf in another hand: "Ralph Thoresby who wrote the Antiquities of Leeds, etc--"
Annotation at head of text on p.1, in Thoresby's hand: "Don. Rev. Jo: Astley. V.D.M. Rado. Thoresby 1713."
Annotation at left of text, in initial position, in the same hand: "This litell treatise commonly called the King's Book was afterwards printed anno 1543 with which I collated it and marked the [disimil?] paragraphs with a pencil."
Annotation at foot of p. 6, in another hand: "William Waller," and again at foot of p. 45: "William Waller is the owner of this Booke."
Annotation at foot of p. 19, in another hand: "Richard Waller de Healaugh....possidet."
Annotation at foot of p. 37, in [Thoresby's?] hand: "The arguments agt. the authority of the Bishop of Rome are much enlarged in the Kings Book that was was [sic] afterwards printed Apr. 1543."
