Manuscript, ink and paint on paper. The central image takes the form of an ark in a synagogue in which the red curtains are drawn, revealing a seven branched candelabrum in the center. On top of the candelabrum is the word Mizraḥ (east). At the foot of the candelabrum is a statement in Hebrew from Psalms 36:10: "For you are the source of life, in your light we will see light." Above the curtains is a semi-circle in which are written in Hebrew the words from Psalm 113:3 "From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised". In the center of the arch is the traditional Hebrew shiviti statement: "I have set the Lord always before me." Above the arch is a crown and on either side is the statement in Hebrew: "Know before whom you stand, before the king of kings, the blessed one be he." At the top of the document are images of holy places in the land of Israel. The document is signed at bottom right: Ehrenpreis F. Miskolc.
