Watermark: similar to Briquet 5911 (?).
Script: Written in Humanistica Cursiva Libraria close to Humanistica Textualis.
Headings, marginal notations and colophon in pale red ink. Guide-letters, but initials wanting (2-3 lines, 4 lines on f. 1r).
Binding: Original half: wooden boards and yellow sheepskin, which was later partially covered by paper with floral designs. Handwritten title on the damaged spine: "Vita civile di Matheo Palmieri M.S.". Two brass clasps fixed to the front cover. Worm-holes in rear board and final leaves.
