"This book was part of the library of the law firm Reeders & Rosettenstein established in 1875 in Winburg, Orange Free State, South Africa. The firm moved to Johannesburg in 1889. In 1977, at the time of the death of J.E. Rosettenstein, the last member of the family to be a partner, the firm was the longest continuously operated law firm in Johannesburg. The Reeders & Rosettenstein collection was presented to Yale University Law Library, by David S. Rosettenstein, in memory of his parents Thelma and Julius Rosettenstein, Attorneys at law."
