The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages of the almanac portion duplicate those in The New-England almanac and farmers' friend for 1842 (New London) by Nathan Daboll. (An exception occurs in the time for Venus' setting on Jan. 2, with a difference of nearly an hour indicating an error). Two of Daboll's columns of calculations are omitted.
Signatures: 1⁴ 2-10⁸ 11⁴ 12⁸ 13⁴.
In printed salmon wrapper.
First two and last two pages contain advertisements, including printer's, publisher's and bookseller's advertisements.
