$100 dollars reward! : Stolen out of the [blank] of [blank] in the county of [blank] State of Pennsylvania, on the night of [blank] a [blank] years old, about [blank] hands high, marked with [blank] A reward of ten dollars will be paid by the owner for his recovery, and the Lower Merion and Haverford Society for the detection and prosecution of Horse Thieves and the recovery of Stolen Horses, will pay a reward of twenty dollars for his recovery, and fifty dollars for the conviction of the thief. / [blank] owner. [blank] president of the society. By an act of the Legislature of Pennsylvania, passed the 15th day of March, 1821, a reward of twenty dollars, for the conviction of a horse thief, is authorized to be paid out of the county treasury, together with six cents for every mile necessarily travelled in pursuit of the offender.
