Summary
A lithographed catalog of the library of the Austrian (Habsburg) Court Chamber. According to the preface by the Austrian diplomat and civil servant Anton Joseph Emanuel Krauss, dated "Wien am 1. November 1835," this catalog was published to "enable the members of this court office to obtain the necessary knowledge of the state and contents of the library without delay and in the shortest way possible." Each of the vice-presidents and advisers was given a copy of the newly designed catalog, arranged according to a scientific system. The holdings of the library cover law, including state and constitutional law, administrative law, commercial law, economics, and library administration. In total, over 1,000 titles are listed, together with approximately 50 periodicals and 50 maps.
