Summary
A collection of 40 Venetian decrees (Partes Presa, Ordeni, Capatoli, etc.), all in quarto format and once part of a bound volume, but disbound. All but one have a manuscript number in the upper right hand corner indicating the order in which they were bound. The decrees date from 1514 to 1620 and range from 2 to 6 leaves. Topics include bills of exchange, sellers of oil, regulation of the sale and import of silk and cloth, regulation of rivers, coinage and counterfeiting, sale of fish by weight, bandits, exchange rates, import of grain, taxes, monasteries, hospitals, feuds, restrictions on wearing pearls, and election of various officials.
