Summary
The Commission was appointed to inquire into, and report to, the House on the truth or falsehood of all the charges made by the defendants, John Walter, the registered proprietor, and G. E. Wright, the printer and publisher of the Times newspaper, against Charles Stewart Parnell and other Irish members of Parliament, in the course of an action entitled "O'Donnell v. Walter and another."
